I’m Delanie!

Big personalities lead to even bigger ideas.

I like to think my big personality is what fuels my sense of curiosity and ability to envision innovative concepts. I aspire to utilize my big personality and big ideas to create campaigns that inspire people.

I consider each project an opportunity to ignite thought. Whether I’m encouraging music lovers to experience a local music festival in new ways or helping traditional Italian artisans in Rome reach their full branding potential, I enjoy seeing concepts through from start to finish. My goal is to create work that not only captivates audiences, but encourages them to think in ways they haven’t before. My creativity and curiosity are fueled by seeing the world from different perspectives, whether it be through the lens of my camera or traveling to new countries.

As a passionate team player, I thrive when collaborating with supportive, creative groups. I pride myself on my ability to make meaningful connections with those around me, which allows me to produce work that truly resonates with target audiences. By cultivating authentic relationships, I gain crucial insights into crafting messages that align with what consumers care about.

With an open and imaginative mindset, I look forward to bringing big ideas to life.

MY MOTIVATION

MY PASSION

What: Creating is my passion. Whether I’m writing stories, designing, or taking pictures, I love having the opportunity to make something my own. Creativity is more than a hobby of mine, it’s become a large part of my identity.

So what: Because I’m driven by creation, I chose to study Advertising and Public Relations. Studying this field has opened up several opportunities for me to create alongside great companies and very talented people.

Now what: I plan on using my creativity to make a meaningful impact in the field of Advertising and Public Relations. By implementing innovative ideas into campaigns, I hope to make people think in ways they haven’t before.

What: As a kid, I had a wild imagination and big plans. Although I was often told to reign in my ideas, my curiosity and creative spark never dulled. I made collages for trips I dreamed to go on and projects I wanted to tackle. I never stopped thinking outside the box. I’m motivated by the big ideas and limitless imagination I had as a child.

So what: It’s sad losing touch of the ambitions we once had as a child. We settle for dimmed, safe versions of our dreams because the world tells us to be “more realistic.” However, I’m learning that when I allow myself to think outside the box and dream big, I produce some of my best work.

Now what: Studying Advertising and Creative Marketing has shown me that it’s not only possible to hold onto my creative spark as a professional adult, but it’s beneficial. I want to continue to work on projects that allow me to think big and bold.

MY STRENGTHS

What: I tell stories very well. I love the way people lean in closer when they’re hooked on a plot, or when they laugh like they were there themselves. Storytelling has become my favorite way to connect with new people.

So what: My ability to tell stories has played a large role in my communication skills. Through storytelling, I’ve learned to successfully express my ideas, collaborate well with others, and create engaging content.

Now what: The connections I’ve made because of my storytelling has inspired a lot of the work I do. As I navigate my professional journey, I want to continue effectively telling the stories of those around me
